Welcome to Discz Gym! We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and motivating environment for all our members. To ensure that everyone has a positive experience, we have established the following terms and conditions.

By using our facilities, services, and programs, you agree to comply with these guidelines.

Please take a moment to read and understand our policies, which are designed to promote fairness, respect, and safety for everyone.

1. Access and Supervision

By purchasing a membership, you acknowledge that Discz Gym allows access to the facility at any time.

Please be aware that there will be no supervision or assistance provided during your use of the facility. In the event of injury, unconsciousness, stroke, heart attack, or other medical emergencies, there is likely to be no immediate response. Despite the presence of surveillance cameras, immediate assistance may not be available.

We highly recommend having a workout partner accompany you while at Discz Gym, but this decision is at your discretion.

2. Age Restrictions

Our services are only available to individuals aged 16 and above. However, individuals aged 13 to 16 can access the gym if accompanied by a family member who holds a valid membership. The accompanying family member must supervise the minor at all times.

3. Medical Clearance and Assumption of Risk

Physical exercise can be strenuous and carries the risk of serious injury. We urge all members to obtain a physical examination from a doctor before using exercise equipment or participating in any exercise activity.

By engaging in any physical exercise or activity, or by using any Discz Gym amenity, you do so entirely at your own risk.

You acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating in the use of this facility and assume all risks of injury, illness, or death. Additionally, Discz Gym is not responsible for the loss of any personal property.

4. Waiver and Release of Liability

This waiver and release of liability includes, without limitation, all injuries which may occur, regardless of negligence, as a result of:

  • Your use of all amenities and equipment in the facility and your participation in any activity, program, personal training, or instruction.
  • The sudden and unforeseen malfunctioning of any equipment.
  • You slipping and/or falling while on the premises.

By using our facilities, you acknowledge that you have carefully read this waiver and release, and fully understand that it is a release of liability. You expressly agree to release and discharge Discz Gym, and all affiliates, employees, agents, representatives, successors, or assigns, from any and all claims or causes of action.

You agree to voluntarily waive any right you may otherwise have to bring a legal action against Discz Gym for negligence, personal injury, or property damage.

5. Use of Likeness

By using the facilities at Discz Gym, you give us the right to take pictures and videos of you and display these online. However, we will always double-check with you before taking any photos or videos to ensure you are comfortable and provide consent at that moment.

6. Discounted Memberships

NHS staff and students must bring or submit their ID when paying for their discounted memberships. This verification helps us ensure that only eligible individuals receive these special rates.

7. Severability Clause

Should any part of this agreement be found by a court of law to be against public policy or in violation of any case precedence, only that specific wording will be removed, and the remainder of this agreement will remain in full force.
